Offshore Wind Farm in Germany

EMSTEC dredging hoses part of project offshore Germany

Spanish power company Iberdrola is operating 30km offshore the German island "Rügen" in the Baltic Sea right now. Their new project called "Wikinger" is an offshore wind farm with capacity for up to 350,000 households. The first power supply is scheduled for the end of 2017.

EMSTEC supplied several hoses for all kinds of dredging works being necessary for the big structures as you can see in the pictures.

After Baltic 1 and 2 the new project will be the third wind farm in the German baltic sea area. Another parc is already planned for 2021. It will be called "Windanker".
