EMSTEC is happy to announce that for the next 10 years double carcass oil transfer hoses of up to 12 inch inner diameter are again certified in accordance with OCIMF - GMPHOM 2009. Classification Society DNV witnessed all tests and signed the prototype certificate without any comments.
The final burst test demonstrated the high quality of the hose design as the first carcass bursted right at the center of the hose at 148 bar and the second carcass bursted also at the center at 72 bar. These values surpass the requirement for 21 bar design pressure.
