EMSTEC built another dredging hose with a desgin which is quite uncommon.
It is manufactured so that exchangeable HB steel buckets can be mounted inside of it for better abraison resistance. The clue is that the hose and the buckets have to be a perfect match with only little tolerance.
The big advantage of this hose design is that the buckets can be easily exchanged.
The disadvantage on the other hand is that the hose is very unflexible and heavy.
Applications are all kinds dredging operations with high abrasive materials like coral and rock. The hose can be built in all kind of different sizes and pressure rating.
